The Vermont Book Of Days is an entertaining daily diary of this day in Vermont history. We launched the program on Vermont Public Television, a statewide network of commercial radio stations, a network of newspapers and on the web on August 29, 2004. We stopped producing for Vermont Public Television in August of 2008, but continue to produce for a statewide network of commercial radio stations. The weekly column is still published by a network of newspapers and we're on the web providing a variety of services, including downloadable PDF files available for Vermont schools.

The local angle of The Vermont Book Of Days is essential! We, of course, cover statewide and well-known events, but we also tell stories that don't often get mainstream attention. We will be telling so many stories over the course of the year that it's the perfect opportunity to involve as many people, places, and events as possible.
